Earlier this year, Queen Elizabeth the Second celebrated her Platinum Jubilee marking 70 years of dedication and service to the Commonwealth. 2RRR joined the City of Ryde with Mayor Clr Jordan Lane on the 6th of November to plant trees in honour of Queen Elizabeth the Second's Platinum Jubilee. Each tree planted along the Ryde River Walk commemorates a year of the Queen's reign from 1952 to 2022. Check out some pictures of the event below!
2RRR visited Macquarie Park Cemetary and Crematorium on November the 5th to celebrate its centenary, as the park celebrates 100 years since its first burial in 1922. A celebration of a century dedicated to caring for and serving the community in all its diversity. The event also celebrated the official opening of a new sanctuary for remembrance, the Mausoleum of The Holy Way. Check out some pictures from our visit below!

The Hidden Rookwood Sculptures exhibition opened on the 10th of September, with 2RRR in attendance. The exhibition runs from the 10th of September to the 9th of October, with over 70 established and emerging artists, school students, and community groups participating in an immersive sculpture walk through the Rookwood Cemetery.
