2RRR received a welcome visit last week from Lauren Ognenovski and Anna, who are drafting a paper on sustainability for the Community Broadcasting Sector for Communications Minister Michelle Rowland. 2RRR Chairperson Dino Mancini and Station Manager Natalie de Silver spoke about our station’s critical initiatives, including our commitment to providing our licensed area with up-to-date local news and the recent success of 2RRR’s youth and disability inclusion programs. In short, Community Broadcasting sets itself apart from other media sources by providing a platform for local participation, training and grassroots media.
