We bid farewell to Mark, aka DJ Swanrock, The Funk Soul Brother (Saturday 8pm-10pm), who will broadcast his last show this coming Saturday, February 22.

Mark in his own words:

“It’s been an absolute blast, and I have learnt so much in the last five years, supporting the community and local and international artists. From Feb 22 2020, when I did my very first broadcast on air, to helping the community with broadcasting information about Covid 19, to broadcasting though lock down, outside broadcasts and DJ’ing at The Granny Smith Festival, as well interviewing some of the most amazing local and international artists, such as Musik G and The Underground Army (Mikee Sparks), ChillCheney, Wayde Richardson, Mighty ASH, Whirlwind D (Dudley Jaynes), Dj Tony Garcia, GhostAttacK, Chief Maez, Rap FC, SangLien, Kenny Beeper, JLotu$, Tatonic, MC Connect, Context Denzel James Kennedy, ALI the GREAT, St.Bedlam, DJ Mantis, Just Kane and iiviivix (Luke Halpin), it has been a fun and rewarding 5 years.

The Funk Soul Brother Show, has and always will be all about the music, the artists and the listener from day one, and would love for you to be a part of the very last show on Sat Feb 22. I plan to go out with a bang, by doing an all out request show playing requests from listeners and artists alike.”

Mark has been on 2RRR for 5+ years and he’s decided to take a break from broadcasting his unique blend of soulful Hip-Hop, Electronica and Old/New School Beats. We wish Mark the best for his next chapter!
