If you’ve tuned into Wild in the Country of late, you most likely would’ve heard Michael’s rendition of the BBC’s time-honoured program “Desert Island Discs”, in which a special guest presents a selection of their favourite ‘must have’ songs if they were stranded on a desert island.

This week’s guest is award-winning writer and author Gayle Kennedy. She is a proud member of the Wongaibon Clan of the Ngiayampaa-speaking nation of South West NSW and is a respected disability advocate. We’re guessing that Gayle’s song selection is perhaps a nod to one of her latest books, “Me, Antman & Fleabag” about “one woman, her partner Antman and their dog Fleabag who pack up the car and turn up the country music … on a spirited road trip”.

So tune in; you just might learn something!
