One couldn’t have asked for better weather to hold an outdoor festival. The morning mist cleared into a wonderful sunny Saturday with a cool northeastern breeze. 2RRR hit the airwaves from 10am until the fireworks finale around 8pm with a broadcasting line-up that showcased the talents of both our newest and pre-established presenters.

Terry Kaff & Rose kicked off the day, setting the scene and good vibrations; that’s Mr ‘Wild in the Country’ Parsons photo bombing to the left 😉 … just kidding Michael!
Our first LIVE performer was local singer/songwriter ‘Carmon’.
Two Broadcasting Giants – Michael Parsons & Eddie White, with a humbled Natalie in the middle.
John Lee and his Electric Barnyard met with Noddy from Aussie Music Weekly for an informative midday music session. They’re pictured here with 2RRR Radio Training Course Lecturer and Trainer Andrew Sayers, who provided invaluable Technical assistance throughout the day.
Ella and Will from Youth Jukebox put on an energetic early afternoon show, which is what our upcoming broadcasters do best!
Patrick (Tales from the High Stool) & Lacie (Morning Cafe) presented a friendly dual of Irish and American folk classics and were graced with an impromptu performance by the beautiful Eloise Rayner.
The ‘Enjoy Living Today’ team certainly caught the attention of Cantonese-speaking festival-goers. Thank you, Cecilia, Boscso & Joe!!!
David from A-Z Guitar Greats teamed up with Natalie from the Morning Mix for an afternoon of songs in celebration of the six-stringed instrument.

The sun began to set with a selection of 60s, 70s & 80s Pop Rock! Flashbacks! with Billy Blake and Robbie. That got the crowd doing the Locomotion!
The Light n Dark Duo of Tia Rose and Lachie Hippa Hilder brought the banter and beats to bewitch the early evening audience.
Superstar DJs Swanny – The ‘Funk Soul Brother’ and Ms ‘Morning Magic’, Katie Little set the night alight (along with the fireworks) to end a fabulous day of live broadcasting!
