CHOOK’S MORNING ROOST featured some very special guests from Side By Side Advocacy. Kim and Shua Hua flew into the ‘Chook Pen’ to discuss their ‘Community for Everyone’ project, which matched volunteer social connectors with isolated individuals who shared similar interests. People with intellectual disabilities codesigned the project, which is taking place in Ryde, Parramatta, Lake Macquarie, and Newcastle. Check out the Side By Side website for more details.
