Natalie from 2RRR’s Morning Mix presents a delightful conversation with Hunters Hill Quilter Iris Grayson. The Hunters Hill Quilters are celebrating their 40th year anniversary and are holding their 19th Quilt Show at Hunters Hill Town Hall from August 4th to August 7th.
For the three days, visitors can enjoy 60+ exhibited unique quilts made by the Hunters Hill Quilters group members. The Stage Shop will have quilts, waggas and gifts for sale and the coffee shop is the perfect place to relax with friends and enjoy the homemade goodies. Material Obsession quilt shop will be there for all quilting needs.
2022 also marks the 40th anniversary of the Hunters Hill Quilters. To celebrate this milestone, the show will include the group’s history with some exciting quilts, facts, and pictures from the archives.
As part of their ongoing effort to give back to the broader community, the Hunters Hill Quilters will donate proceeds from the 2022 Quilt Show to two charities supporting women and girls: Hornsby and Ku-ring-gai Women’s Shelter and Days for Girls.
The quilt show raffle provides an opportunity to win one of two quilts, both with very different designs. ‘Gentle Harmony’ is a traditional quilt, and ‘Splashes of Colour’ is a primarily black and white contemporary design.
